For the week of April 17 – 21, 2023, there will be three traffic delays along Bamfield Main with a maximum of 15-minute wait time. Please stay alert to road conditions and Flaggers/stop lights, remembering to follow the pilot vehicle before proceeding from the light.
Important:
The speed when driving on the Bamfield Main Road should not exceed 60 km per hour, and drivers are required to slow down in bad weather conditions and when construction equipment, flaggers, and crews are on the road. The RCMP will be monitoring for safe driving throughout the project and detour.
