On Saturday, October 14th, 2022 Huu-ay-aht citizens are eligible to vote for up School District 70 Trustees in – Electoral Area #2 (Alberni Valley & Bamfield.) Analca resident voting takes place at the Bamfield Fire Hall (352 Pachena Road, Bamfield, BC) between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
To be eligible to vote as a resident or non-resident elector, you will be required to make a declaration that you meet the following requirements:
• 18 years of age or older on the day of registration
• Canadian citizen
• resident of BC for at least 6 months immediately preceding the day of registration
• resident of OR registered owner of real property in trustee electoral area #2, and
• not disqualified under the Local Government Act or any other enactment from voting in an election or otherwise disqualified by law.
