HGB wins aboriginal business award

BC Achievements Foundation celebrates the ninth annual BC Aboriginal Business awards this year. They will take this opportunity to recognize 19 indigenous businesses for their business achievements.

Huu-ay-aht First Nations, is proud to announce that the Huu-ay-aht Group of Businesses has won the 2017 BC Aboriginal Business Award for outstanding business achievements in the Community-Owned Business of the Year category (two or more entries).

“Receiving this award is wonderful acknowledgment for the hard work and effort that HGB’s staff and management have put in to growing and improving the businesses,” explains acting HGB CEO Teresa Gagnon. “My team and I feel proud and honoured to receive this recognition.”

All awardees will be celebrating at a gala dinner ceremony on Thursday, October 26 2017 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

  1. Congratulations to HGB for winning the BC Aboriginal Award for 2017. As a citizen it is a wonderful feeling to have the achievements of our Nation recognized. We still have alot of work ahead of us but we are off to a good start. Keep up the good work HGB!!
