Join us for the 2026 Huu-ay-aht Days on August 14-15, 2026 at Pachena Bay Beach to honour our shared history, celebrate who we are, and connect as Huu-ay-aht Citizens.
Important info: This event is a campout. Please bring your own camping gear, as it will not be supplied. You don’t have to worry about applying for a Permit. Huu-ay-aht will have a general permit for that weekend.

We ask that each vendor that signs up donates one item created by them to go towards a door prize.
PLEASE NOTE: Huu-ay-aht First Nations can provide one table and two chairs. Any additional equipment you require is your responsibility.

Wellness Vendors:
We’re looking to hire Huu-ay-aht citizens to provide services for our upcoming Huu-ay-aht Days event on Day 2, Saturday, August 15! If you offer health and wellness services, spiritual or cultural teachings, we invite you to apply. Please fill out the form with a description of your service, your availability and rates, and any additional details or requirements you may have. We’re excited to showcase and support citizen talent at this celebration!

Volunteers
We’re looking for a few amazing volunteers to help out with cooking breakfast and any support needed on Day 2, Saturday August 15.

Additional Information:
- Gas cards will be handed out to drivers/citizens on Friday, August 14, 2026. Please note that other travel expenses, such as accommodation, travel, or additional costs, will not be reimbursed.
- This camp-out event will take place at Pachena Bay Beach at the Citizen Private Sites. Please bring your own camping gear, as it will not be supplied. You don’t have to worry about applying for a Permit. Huu-ay-aht will have a general permit for that weekend.
- Huu-ay-aht staff will be kicking off the weekend with a catered lunch on Friday, followed by activities at the Pachena Bay Beach private sites. Then, citizens will take over and spend their weekend together however they please.
- We ask that citizens are diligent with their own health. If you have special requirements please ensure you are prepared. If you have allergies, please ensure you have an Epipen on you. Please note, this is a camping event and may not be suitable for some with disabilities. Use your own discretion.
- Parents are responsible for their children. We can’t stress it enough, please keep an eye on your children at all times.
- Huu-ay-aht Days is an alcohol and drug-free event, please do not attend if you are under the influence.
