Vendors Registration – Closed
Huu-ay-aht Citizen Vendors!
Please fill out the vendor form if you want to sell some artwork, handmade clothes, or something else. Please also know as a vendor, it is your responsibility to supply your cash float for yourself. Lastly, depending on how many vendors register, you may only be guaranteed half a table. Space is limited. No sales can be made during the meeting, we ask that transactions be made during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Registration – CLOSED
Every Citizen, 18 and older, who is attending the People’s Assembly must register to ensure accommodations, meals, and travel support can be provided.
IMPORTANT:
- Huu-ay-aht Government is only supporting Huu-ay-aht Citizens to attend the people’s assembly. If you are planning to bring non-citizens with you, it is at their own expense. Huu-ay-aht will be tracking to ensure fairness.
- Huu-ay-aht does their best to accommodate all Huu-ay-aht Citizen needs based on their registration information. However, it cannot always be met. We kindly ask Citizens to respect and be kind to the Huu-ay-aht Government Staff who are planning the People’s Assembly.
- If your plans change, please contact the Huu-ay-aht Government Office immediately and before Wednesday, November 19, at 250-723-0100. This is to avoid penalties as stated in the Attendance at the People’s Assembly Policy.
How to register:
- Online: Register Here
- Call: 250-723-0100 and speak with a staff member
- In person: Visit the Anacla or Port Alberni Government Office and a staff member can assist in filling out the registration form
Early bird prize: $100 cash prize
The winner must attend the People’s Assembly and will receive their early bird prize cash following the people’s assembly.

Registration deadline: Friday, October 31, 2025

How would you like to receive your People’s Assembly Materials?
For the 2025 People’s Assembly, we offer the option to receive materials via email or Mail. We ask that all citizens fill out this survey to confirm their preferred delivery method and the correct mailing address or email. Please note that the materials sent via email or Mail are the only copies provided to citizens. No extras will be provided at the People’s Assembly on Saturday, November 22. If you select Mail (physical copy), it is your responsibility to bring the materials to the People’s Assembly.

- Every Citizen over the age of 18 must complete this form
- If you choose to receive your materials by address, the address given will be updated in the Huu-ay-aht Database
- If selecting to receive your materials via email, you will be asked to confirm your address for the Huu-ay-aht Database; we will still send you materials via email as requested.

Citizen, Elder, Youth of the Year Nominations – CLOSED
Do you know an amazing Huu-ay-aht citizen and want to recognize them for it?
Nominations should be based on excellence in one or more of the following areas:
- Nominee has had a positive impact in the community
- Nominee has demonstrated a personal commitment to the benefit of the community
- Has performed an outstanding achievement or act of heroism
- The community has benefited from this person’s involvement
- Has overcome significant personal adversity
- Has positive and inspiring personal attributes that serve to encourage others
