2025 Huu-ay-aht Days will take place from August 15 to 16 in Anacla at the House of Huu-ay-aht. The two days will be filled with food, culture, contests, and fun activities.

Vendor Form:
Huu-ay-aht Vendors! Please fill out the vendor form if you want to sell some artwork, handmade clothes, or something else. Vendors will only be selling on the Saturday, August 16.
Please note, Huu-ay-aht First Nations can provide one table and two chairs. Any additional equipment you require is your responsibility.
We kindly ask that you donate one item to go towards door prizes.

Wellness Vendor
We’re looking to hire Huu-ay-aht citizens to provide services for our upcoming Huu-ay-aht Days event on August 16! If you offer health and wellness services, spiritual or cultural teachings, or entertainment and enjoyment activities, we invite you to apply. Please fill out the form, here, with a description of your service, your availability and rates, and any additional details or requirements you may have. We’re excited to showcase and support citizen talent at this celebration!
Travel Support
Huu-ay-aht First Nations is providing travel support via Port Alberni Shuttle, Gas, and Ferry support.

- Gas Cards:
- $50 – On-island travel
- $75 – Off-island travel
- Provided only to the driver of each vehicle, not passengers.
- Ferry Coverage:
- Covers standard vehicle fees only (no oversized vehicles, camper vans, buses, or vehicles towing boats/recreational equipment).
- Available for walk-on passengers.
- Port Alberni Shuttle:
- Registration is required
- This Shuttle Service Form is for citizens to get to and from HFN Days on Friday, August 15. There will be no shuttle available on Saturday, August 16. We ask citizens who would like to stay overnight on Friday, August 25, they coordinate their own travel home. Please note: This Shuttle Service will only be going from Port Alberni to Anacla (Round-trip) on Friday, August 15.
Important:
- Deadline to apply: Thursday, August 14 at 2:00 p.m.
- No late submissions will be reimbursed.
- No walk-up claims or post-event refunds will be accepted without pre-registration.
- Receipts are required for all reimbursements. No receipts = no money.

Are you planning on camping at Huu-ay-aht Days? You must apply for a permit! To apply for a permit, please fill out the Permit Form; Here.

2. Huu-ay-aht Government will provide a catered brunch (late morning) and lunch (mid afternoon) at the House of Huu-ay-aht on Friday, August 15, and a breakfast on Saturday, August 16.
3. There are no recycling bins at the campground. Please pack out what you pack in.
4. We ask that citizens are diligent with their health. If you have special requirements, please ensure you are prepared. If you have allergies, please ensure you have an EpiPen on you.
5. Parents are responsible for their children. We can’t stress it enough. Please keep an eye on your children at all times. Do not leave them unattended.
6. Huu-ay-aht Days is an alcohol and drug-free event, please do not attend if you are under the influence.
7. There is no lifeguard on duty during Huu-ay-aht days. Please use caution and never swim alone.
14. As a community, let Huu-ay-aht sacred principles guide us through the weekend: ʔiisaak (greater respect), ʔuuʔałuk (taking care of…), Hišuk ma c̕awak (Everything is one)
