ʕac̓ikaḥ (I am an artist). 🎨 Calling all Huu-ay-aht Youth (Ages 13–15)! 🎨

Looking for a space to chill, create, and just be yourself? (And honestly, one that’s way more therapeutic than a scrolling marathon?) Join us for Youth Art Therapy starting this May!

This is a safe, supportive group where you can connect with peers and use art to explore the big stuff, like identity, self-care, and mental health, in a way that feels good.

HoopLife & Huu-ay-aht First Nations Basketball Camp

HoopLife and Huu-ay-aht First Nations are teaming up to offer a two-day Basketball Camp at the House of Huu-ay-aht from Monday, August 26 to Tuesday, August 27 for all Huu-ay-aht Youth! This Camp is open to children and youth ages 7 – 18. The Camp will take these ages and divide the kids into two groups based on age, so 13 and under will be at Camp from 9 A.M. – 12 P.M. and 18 and under will be 1 – 3 P.M.

HoopLife and Huu-ay-aht First Nations Basketball Camp

Children and Youth Ages 7 – 18

Join HoopLife and Huu-ay-aht First Nations in Anacla on Monday, August 26 and Tuesday, August 27, for a two-day Basketball Camp at the House of Huu-ay-aht. This camp is open to all Huu-ay-aht Citizens ages 7 – 18, and the ages will be broken into two groups: 13 and under and 18 and under. These two groups have different start and end times. Children and youth in the 13 and under group will be 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. and 18 and under will be 1 – 3 P.M.. Over the two days, participants will learn proper shooting form, defensive skills, advanced dribbling, and high-level scoring.
