Huuayaht.org enhancements are in the works!

The website was launched on February 16th during the Community Engagement Session in Port Alberni. This was one of the steps of the rebranding initiative that the Nation started last year.

The site has had an average of 1,649.60 visitors per month and a total of 45,728 views. Our audience reads a minimum of five pages per visit. On June 21st, National Aboriginal Day, the site broke the record of views (1,235) due to the publication of the results of the election for Chief and Council.

Our readership includes people from Canada, USA, Australia, Hungary, Germany, Philippines, Brazil, UK, Russia and Pakistan. The Nation is successfully heading to its internationalization. Collaborative team work among different departments has been key to produce about a hundred of posts during this time.

In the coming weeks, citizens and other stakeholders are going to enjoy the new staff directory. This feature complements the organizational charts as it is going to allow people to get names, positions, phone numbers, email addresses and job descriptions. You will save time and get an even higher quality customer service experience by sending your enquiries to the right branch of the organization immediately.

Government Services is also getting ready to make notices, permits and other useful details available to you in a friendly format.
