The Huu-ay-aht Group of Businesses has agreed to issue a cheque to Huu-ay-aht First Nations representing a share of profits from the Huu-ay-aht Group of Businesses. In turn, the Huu-ay-aht First Nations Executive Council has decided to share those profits with each Huu-ay-aht Citizen in the amount of two hundred & fifty dollars ($250.00).

Appreciation to the HGB for their generosity in giving HFN citizens this Christmas bonus. As well congratulations to our Businesses to have made this profit so that our citizens can enjoy and appreciate the great work that is being done on our behalf. To Stan Coleman the outgoing CEO, my sincere appreciation for your great contribution and dedication to the Nation during your tenure. We don’t always express our gratitude to those who leave but this gives me the opportunity to say that I greatly appreciate the efforts you made to bringing our businesses to this stage. As well my appreciation to the BOD and Operation board for their hard work and dedication and one day bringing our businesses to the stage where we can truly become self-sufficient in every aspect.
