Building Our Nation and Bringing Our People Home

Huu-ay-aht First Nations and Steelhead LNG are proposing to develop a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facility at Sarita Bay. At the People’s Assembly on November 29 and 30 Huu-ay-aht citizens will vote on whether to move forward
in exploring the proposed Project.
Training Huu-ay-aht citizens for jobs at the proposed Project is a top priority for the Huu-ay-aht Government.
If the Huu-ay-aht citizens vote in favour of the proposed Project, we will put into motion a long-term strategy to educate and train our citizens to benefit from either direct or spin-off employment from the LNG facility in Sarita Bay.
