Post-Secondary Education

The Huu-ay-aht government and administration recognize that learning is not confined to childhood or the classroom but takes place throughout life and in a range of situations.

Huu-ay-aht First Nations has some policies and programs that may assist in supporting the education of your children and family, or your personal learning journey. Huu-ay-aht can also try to assist you in accessing the resources available to you in your community and region.

Please contact the Secondary and Post-Secondary Education Coordinator through the contact form, email education@huuayaht.org  or call 250.723.0100 x 220.

Training Program Sponsorship

The HFN Education department may sponsor a program for you to receive training, gain skills, and find employment.

This may be a one-day program like a First Aid course or an Excel course for example, an H2S course, or something more extensive that builds your skills.

HFN also looks for partners to support your training needs–employers or other training organisations.

Please contact the Education Coordinator  (education@huuayaht.org /250.723.0100) with questions or to request an application.

You can also download the application form here and scan or email it back to education@huuayaht.org.
