ƛułʔat̕im łimaqsti as Marie Newfield

ƛułʔat̕im łimaqsti means “Be always kind-hearted” and late Marie Newfield was the epitome of this. She loved her family and community deeply. Marie was a true language revitalization activist who was going to graduate this year from the CALR program (Certificate in Aboriginal Language Revitalization) at UVic. She was a busy bee always willing to help people around and reward them with her warm smile. Watch this video and learn more about her life.
