Historic Fisheries Litigation Decision
Huu-ay-aht and all Nuu-chah-nulth people celebrate historic fisheries litigation ruling , November 3rd, 2009
(Vancouver) A decision on the Nuu-chah-nulth Fisheries litigation was released on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Lawyers for Nuu-chah-nulth, the Governments of Canada and B.C. received the decision in a two hour “lock-up” from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. this morning.
At 11:00 a.m. lawyers for Nuu-chah-nulth briefed Nuu-chah-nulth and invited guests on the content of the decision at the Chateau Granville (1100 Granville Street, Vancouver) in the Granville Room, which lasted about an hour.
