The Ministry of Education has approved an Outreach Strong Start Program for the Bamfield area. Strong Start is a free parent and child early learning program. Our belief is that a child's parents' are his or her first teachers. Our programming will encourage parents and children to explore and learn together through play. This program is in partnership with Ministry of Education, SD 70, Bamfield Community School and Huu-ay-aht First Nation Anacla Learning Centre (Paawats). The program will alternate weeks operating a Wenesday session, which will be incorporated into our regular Paawats session (10:00 - 1:00), and then operate a session at the Bamfield Community School the next week on Thursday (10:30 - 12:30).  See schedule below.
